Danny Gorden has been a working musician since 1999, having played freelance for musical theater, worship bands, top 40 rock bands, high school show choirs, and various recording sessions for independent artists. He has played nearly every major venue on Hollywood ’s Sunset Strip. His big break came in 2002 on a national tour drumming with Inpop recording artist Beanbag, playing to sellout crowds at large music festivals.
A graduate of the California State University at Northridge, Danny holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Industry Studies and Percussion Performance. He not only teaches a schedule of private drum students at Arts and Rock Band camps, but also enjoys teaching courses covering the business side of the music industry; including marketing, public relations, and financial management.
Danny’s latest passion is Dead Man’s Party, an Oingo Boingo tribute act that consistently sells out club venues and amphitheaters across the West Coast.
“For my particular gig schedule you have to tune your drums 1). very quickly and 2). in the midst of interfering stage noise. DrumDial allows me to meet both of these demands, and with great accuracy. I also love their triggers! Great for building new live performance options as the worlds of acoustic and electronic drums continue to collide.
DrumDial… don’t leave home without it! (Is that still copyrighted???) Anyways…”
